I received a DIGITAL Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. From the publisher --- Stop throwing away your food scraps and start enjoying them on your table! A collection of 80 surprising, creative, delicious recipes for anyone who wants to cook smart, sustainable, and impressive meals out of unused bits of produce, cheese rinds, stale bread, and other oft-discarded foods.
Oh, what a perfect book for ur "Food Families" program and anyone who wants to do things with food scraps other than making a big pot of soup with the cheese rinds stuck in for extra oooomph. Aquafaba???? WHO KNEW!!!!! (look it up and you will wonder why y0ou ever tossed it!!) There were a lot of things I would make (and a few I would not) ... the author's easy writing style is endearing and folksy and now I want a road trip to Zingrmanns in A2 as it is only 2 hours away and I want some cheese to make those cheese rinds with! This book will make your taste buds happy and your wallet even happier! 5 stars for great recipes and ingenuity!
