This was an enjoyable quick read at under 100 pages and at no time do I disagree that sugar is not good for you as an empty calorie in its pure SUGAR form. But I do disagree with having to remove gluten from your life as whole grains, oats, barley (and other gluten-containing foods) are not as evil, IN MY OPINION, as others. The total lack of legumes and beans also bothered me as they are high in fiber and slow to digest just like oats and barley are, as well. (And as someone with gut problems they psyllium husk heavy recipes are a total NO-NO as I would be in agony for days!)

So, read it with a grain of salt and adapt the recipes to ones that would work for you and your family --- some look yummy and usable especially if you try to eat low-carb like I do!!!
