We loved this book --- as Bear goes on his trip he picks up some new friends and they journey to see a new baby in the forest you follow along with lovely drawings and a great little story. I personally think that it is a great way to teach kids that you can be friends with others who don't look the same as you do - i.e. different coloured skin, different religions, etc. can be part of a storytime lesson. This is a definite MUST buy and MUST read book for your kids!!
