This is a great way to teach children that not everyone is scary --- the fact that Johnny wanted to share his birthday cake with them is a good message that you can trust that not all others (people or spiders) are mean and scary. However, there is ZERO chance that I will kiss any spider, even Johnny...just saying! :-)
