I received a DIGITAL Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. From the publisher --- Outlaws lead a solitary life. They give up much for what little they gain. In the 1970s, when I was young and idealistic, I wanted to strike a minor blow to undermine my government’s power and ended up dedicating my life to making marijuana available. I became a drug smuggler.

I loved the challenging life I chose. I became a valued and trusted smuggler, but at the same time alienated my wife and daughter and became something of an outcast from my mother and other close relatives. You can’t have it all. This is the story of my adventures as an outlaw. Hold onto your hat, it's a wild ride. I kept thinking about Tom Cruise’s “American Made” movie while reading this book … however, unlike Tom’s character this guy is likeable. This is a very easy and very QUICK read (75 pages) and I really enjoyed this book and his crazy but true adventures. I see that the NEXT book will be called “Escape From Acapulco” and I look forward to reading (and hopefully reviewing) that.
