I received a DIGITAL Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. From the publisher ---

What would happen if the characters of Phantom of the Opera could text each other? How would the ghost of the Paris Opera House make itself known? Would Raoul be able to convince Christine to go away with him? In this LOL retelling of Gaston Leroux's work, you'll get a condensed, modern, interpretation of this famous love story, and it's all told through texts and emojis. Featuring hundreds of classic and new emojis along with a removable poster (featuring the story in just emojis), this is the perfect gift for any Phantom lover, or over-texter.

I laughed so hard I think I broke a rib!!! Emojis - or as we called it in 1994, that smiley face thingy that looked like this : - )

You can have so much fun with emojis --- I don’t think that I use them enough but this book is hilarious and inspires me to do so much more via emoji … I would love to see “Les Miserables”, for example, or Dicken's hilariously wicked “A Christmas Carol” done this way --- once my rib heals.
