Good Together: Drink & Feast with Mr Lyan & Friends

I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Dirty secret? Cookbooks are my porn --- I love gorgeously photographed books (as this is) and great meal ideas. But I doubt that there is anything in this book that I would go out of my way to source the ingredients for any dinner party where I would expect my (rather picky) guests to enjoy the meal and appreciate the work gone into making the food. For example, drinks-wise, I rarely keep fennel pollen or sorrel on hand. Foodwise, lambs hearts? Not going to happen. But I do appreciate the book and its message that these great drinks and meals go together, therefore I will give it a sold middle-of-the-road three stars.
