I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. From the publisher - The Minimalist Kitchen includes 100 wholesome recipes that use Melissa's efficient cooking techniques and the results are anything but ordinary. While The Minimalist Kitchen helps tackle one of the home's biggest problem areas: the kitchen, this book goes beyond simply the basics of clearing out and cleaning up, it gives readers practical tips to maintain this simplified way of life. Melissa shows you how to shop, how to stock your pantry, meal planning without losing your mind, and most importantly, that delicious food doesn’t take tons of ingredients or gadgets to prepare. This streamlined way of cooking is a breath of fresh air in modern lives where clutter and distraction can so easily take over.

This is a decidedly refreshing idea of how to streamline your kitchen and your cooking - but her pantry and kitchen space must be 10x the size of mine as I have ESSENTIALS in bins in the storage cupboards. The ideas re: pantries and cookware are great if you have time, space and money but the recipes can be made by just about anyone. A great idea for cooks who either are cluttered or the complete opposite as I imagine both would get a lot from this book in the end!!!!
