I AM GOING TO ADMIT (ONCE AGAIN) RIGHT OFF THE BAT --- I DO NOT GARDEN. I KILLED A SILK PLANT WHEN I LEFT IT IN THE WINDOW AND IT GOT WET AND IT MOLDED!!! Why did I want to read and review this book? Because when I am not a librarian I am an artist AND I adore flowers. I live for flowers. My Instagram feed is clogged with them and my paintings are full of them and I foresee many, many, many paintings filled with peonies in my near future as this book is amazing!!!

I am going to have a garden plot next year and it is going to be filled with peonies (and ranunculus) as their colours are wonderful - without this book I think I would have killed them all.
