I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I loved this book. I am a trivia and social-history fanatic so this was right up my alley - in fact while reading it I went and bought a copy of volume one to add to my ever-increasing reading pile of joy :-)
The stories of the famous peoples' lives were incredibly insightful and interesting - the story of Irving Berlin's marriage made me realize that life is short but you need to live it to the fullest!!! Is it kind of morbid? well, yes ... but it is not like each and every one of us is not going to die someday --- we need to leave a life behind worth writing about.!!!
