I was a serious reader from a very early age and the Anne of Green Gables books were always on the go .. I read them over and over. Part of that might have been as I was adopted and could identify with Anne to a certain degree.

This tiny little book has some very Canadian recipes - I am dying to make the Maritime Gingerbread which is nice and heavy with molasses. and the chocolate caramels - they will definitely be in this year's holiday cookie exchange and

Gilbert's Hurry Up Dinner is on the menu for tomorrow.

Beautiful photography and the artwork is sublime...so pretty.

I think I may buy myself a copy!!!!

Thank you, Net Galley for the opportunity to review this book --- as people who follow me know, I do not regurgitate what the book is about as that is what the description from the author and publisher at the top of the page are for.
